How do I know if a website is worth the cost?
Divide the cost of the website by what one new customer is worth to you. That tells you how many new customers it takes to pay for itself.
If each new client is worth $1,000 or more, an $8,500 Signature website pays for itself after about 8–9 new clients. A useful budget check: many small businesses spend 7–8% of yearly revenue on marketing, and a website project often takes about 15–30% of that. More on website budgets.
What’s the difference between the quick-launch website and a Signature website?
The quick-launch website gets you online fast on a template. The Signature website is built to bring in clients, with strategy, content and custom design included.
The quick-launch website ($2,500) turns a free or premium Squarespace template into your finished site, up to 10 pages, with your words and photos. It’s set up so Google can find every page, with forms and booking connected.
A Signature website ($8,500) starts with strategy: a competitive report, AI and SEO prompt research, and a client journey map you keep. I write every page from your input, structured for Google and AI, then design it around your business. About 4 weeks.
Which templates can I choose from?
Any free Squarespace template, or a premium template you buy. I’ll help you pick one that fits your business.
How many pages do I get?
Up to 10 pages. Extra pages are quoted before we start.
What does Squarespace cost on top of your fee?
Usually about $25–$40 a month on an annual plan, plus about $20–$70 a year for your domain after the first free year. Squarespace bills you directly for a website plan and your domain name. I’ll recommend the plan that fits what your site needs, so you don’t pay for features you won’t use.
Can you help if my website isn’t on Squarespace?
Yes. The add-ons, like the tune-up, the content makeover and reports, work on most platforms. Makeovers and Signature website makeovers move your site to Squarespace, with redirects so you keep your rankings.
Can you guarantee I’ll rank first or that ChatGPT will recommend me?
No one can promise that, because Google and AI tools decide. What I can do is make your business clear, credible and easy to quote, which is what Google and AI tools look for, and show you where you stand before and after.
What’s the difference between AI and SEO visibility?
SEO helps you rank in Google’s regular results. AI visibility helps you get mentioned in AI answers. They overlap a lot, which is why I do them as one package. My AI for SEO guide explains how it works.
